June 2012
We still have not been able to move into new office space. In fact, we have spent the past three months moving from temporary space to temporary space, thanks to friends in the area. It's been a very difficult transition.
However, things are looking much brighter for the future. Paperwork should be signed on July 16, and we should be open for business again by July 23 in our new office space Murfreesboro, Tennessee, including better, faster internet hookups.
As soon as we are certain about the new address and new telephone numbers, we will send out "change of address" emails (and letters, too, if we have your brick-and-mortar address).
We continue to update our courses, looking forward to the day when we have more reliable web and telephone service and can teach courses through web-conferencing. We also continue to test the "Seasonal Adjustment with X-12-ARIMA in Windows" on-line course. We should be able to release this to beta testers before the end of summer.
In honor of Fathers' Day, which is celebrated in June in the United States, I have included below some quotes from my father. My father was my very first math teacher, my mentor (especially in all things statistical), and an incredible dad. I lost my father to leukemia in 2007, and I still miss him every day.
Comments and suggestions are welcome. Please email "info" at catherinechhood.net with your ideas.
