25 Sep 2007:
Dr. Maravall at the Bank of Spain has informed me that there is a new DLL for using TRAMO/SEATS with Excel. It is still a beta version. Changing this information on the SEATS FAQ page reminded me that I needed to update that page, so I made several improvements to the FAQ pages in general.

21 Sep 2007:
After quite a bit of hassle with the chat software, we've decided to let it go. If someone really wants to chat, I have accounts on both Google and MSN, and chat software for the students at Belmont. The chat software I was using on this site just wasn't making the grade.

23 Aug 2007:
My first day as an adjunct at Belmont University in Nashville. I'm very excited to be teaching again.

22 June 2007:
We had a very successful trip to Montreal for the Third International Conference on Establishment Surveys. I gave both an invited session on seasonal adjustment and a research report on my spectral analysis for quarterly series. I also coauthored a paper with Kathy on model selection. The papers are listed now on the papers page.

26 Feb 2007:
I have SAS. I'm looking forward to using SAS again for my research and teaching.

13 Feb 2007:
We had our first request for information about X-12 for Windows Vista®. We are still running on Windows XP, and it will be some time before staff at the Census Bureau will be able to get access to Vista at work. When we have some definite information, we will be sure to post it here and on the FAQ pages. (Windows Vista is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation.)

25 Jan 2007:
We've updated our services page to include research review and tutoring. Because of the demand for these services, Catherine had already been helping people with their theses and disertations. Adding these services to the list on the web site makes it a bit more official.

12 Jan 2007:
We released the redesign of the website. Our coolest new feature is the ability to chat with our helpdesk. We had quite a bit of success in helping customers when it was in testing, so we look forward to helping even more customers through the chatting link.

2 Oct 2006:
My paper, "Assessment of Diagnostics for the Presence of Seasonality," was accepted at the Third International Conference on Establishment Surveys in Montreal, Canada.

12 May 2006:
I was invited to give a presentation on seasonal adjustment at the Third International Conference on Establishment Surveys in Montreal, Canada (June 18-21, 2007).
